Out on the Shelf offers inclusive, community-centered programming and services for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals across Guelph and Wellington County. Our spaces are designed to support connection, well-being, and access in ways that are affirming, low-barrier, and responsive to community needs. Explore our Programming and Services below.

Marley Legacy Project Fund
The Marley Legacy Project provides transgender and gender-diverse folks with microgrants of up to $250 to assist them with transitioning so that their experience might be easier than Marley’s was. This fund is administered by Out on the Shelf. Click below to learm more and apply.

Gender Affirming Gear Exchange
Founded in July 2025 and inspired by community members, the Gender Affirming Gear Exchange at Out on the Shelf provides free, accessible gender-affirming gear to trans and gender-diverse community members in Guelph and Wellington County. Know Before You Go
Out on the Shelf prohibits discrimination and harassment and protects the right to be free of hate activity based on age, ancestry, citizenship, creed (religion), colour, dis/ability, ethnic origin, family status, gender identity, appearance, mode of dress, HIV status, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), level of literacy, marital status, place of origin, membership in a union or staff association, political affiliation, race, receipt of public assistance, record of offenses except where it relates to a bona fide qualification because of the nature of the placement, sex, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristics by or within the organization.
