Community Events
Finding 2SLGBTQIA+ spaces and events is essential to building community. From peer support programs to games nights—Guelph and Wellington County is home to so many incredible folks working to create meaningful events, programming, services, and more for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals.
As part of the Transcendence Project, Out on the Shelf conducted needs assessment surveys to identify existing service gaps—seeking to identify ways we could strengthen how we show up for our community. Insights we gathered included that we needed a place to guide folks to the many queer events held in our region.
This led to the development of our Community Events Calendar. We hope this calendar becomes your roadmap to the places we thrive, and all the ways we create belonging along the way.
