Guelph Summer Pride is a collaboration between a wide range of 2SLGBTQIA+ community organizations, coming together to create spaces where the many communities of Guelph can gather in celebration. Summer Pride uplifts our creativity, joy, resilience, and the many forms of love, identity, and connection that shape our lives.
Taking place during the summer months, Guelph Summer Pride honours the legacy of queer and trans resistance and visibility that has long been associated with Pride celebrations held in June and beyond. This season is often linked to the Stonewall uprising, a pivotal moment in 2SLGBTQIA+ history that sparked widespread activism and continues to influence Pride movements around the world.
Through community-driven events, artistic expression, and opportunities for connection, Guelph Summer Pride creates affirming and inclusive spaces that recognize both our histories of resistance and our ongoing commitment to care, celebration, and collective liberation
