Library – 42 Carden St, Second Floor
Our new space began circulation of materials in August 2017, prior to that we were located at 10 Carden Street. In the past year(s) we have expanded hours of operation and have hundreds more resources available. We also look forward to launching our interlibrary loan operations with other organizations in Guelph. Watch this space for our new schedule and new partnerships!
Currently Out On The Shelf membership is available for $10 per year which includes library membership and voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting. To sign up for a membership you must be at least 13 years of age. All you need to do is bring in either a valid driver’s license or a piece of mail with your name and address on it (e.g. a bill from a phone company, etc.)
As the OOTS Library transforms into an interlibrary loan organization, our goals for 2017 are to:
- be a safe place for people to learn, explore, and discover,
- become a resource of information and inspiration for the entire city and beyond,
- be a responsible and valuable partner to other community-building organizations in Guelph,
- actively spread understanding and compassion on issues of sexuality and identity, and
- enthusiastically originate and promote events that celebrate and expand our diversity!
