Guelph-Wellington has a rich past intertwined with 2SLGBTQIA+ history. What did Guelph’s participation in the fight for queer rights on a local, national, and international scale look like? Out on the Shelf’s Histories and Records Coordinator Maddox Hunt will guide you through Guelph-Wellington’s queer past, spanning from the early days of organizing in Guelph’s homosexual liberation community (later known as the 2SLGBTQIA+ community) through to the thriving community we have today.
