Guelph Pride Committee Co-Chairs – 2 Positions
To apply to any of these positions please see our postings and job descriptions at the Volunteer Centre of Guelph/ Wellington
The Out On The Shelf Board of Directors would like to express our gratitude and sincere thanks to the City of Guelph for their continued support through the 2017 Wellbeing Grant Program. These funds are vital to help our library, including providing the inclusive space we offer as well as its future networking with other library systems in Guelph.
Out On The Shelf stands opposed to all forms of discrimination and rejects the rising culture of Islamophobia that currently exists both domestically and worldwide. We furthermore reject and denounce the unsettling, unwarranted and prejudicial actions of the United States government in relation to its Muslim Ban and stand in solidarity with the Muslim community of Guelph in this difficult time. We must all come together to resist all infringements of human rights and dignity and reaffirm our shared commitment to diversity.
We also strongly condemn the horrific, barbaric and cowardly act of terrorism that claimed the lives of 6 innocent worshipers and wounded 19 in Quebec City. We offer our condolences and our sympathies to the families of the victims and the entire Muslim community as a whole.
- Edward Reimer, Secretary and Vice-Chair
